Show your community that you care and make addiction treatment a reality for the 1 in 5 Canadians who struggle with the disease. Your donations will go to the aims of our organization: to be a leading, community based organization that provides strength, hope, and healing through programming and support to those affected by addiction and mental health needs.
GIVING IS EASY
Together, we will improve lives through overcoming addiction and mental health concerns. You can be a Friend of Recovery with a gift under $5,000 or become a Leader in Recovery through a major gift that is directed to the objectives of the organization. For more information on becoming a Leader in Recovery, contact our office.
GIVE WHERE IT MATTERS TO YOU
Quality programming, state-of-the-art facility, unused land. Over the next 5 years, the east lawn at the Thorpe Recovery Centre will be transformed into the Serenity Garden. A meandering pathway will guide you down past fire pits and reading nooks towards the Serenity Pier, overlooking the ponds on the east side of the facility. This will be a space for reflection, group work, family visits, and building relationships with oneself and others.
Build, repair, and maintain our facilities and ensure our services can be offered in a safe environment, meeting the community’s needs.
AREA OF GREATEST NEED
Your unrestricted donation will help us raise awareness, educate, and continue to run our life-saving programs at the Centre.
Currently only 1 in 5 applicants can access funding for addiction treatment at Thorpe Recovery Centre. To meet this need of the community, a solution was found and the Thorpe Recovery Centre Treatment Fund was formed. Managed by the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation (LRHF), the Thorpe Recovery Centre Treatment Fund is building an endowment for individuals who are in need of financial assistance and wish to access the services of the Thorpe Recovery Centre.
BE A #SOBERHERO
Every September, Addiction Awareness Month, we challenge our Staff, Society, Alumni, and the community to give up one vice or habit for 30 days to raise awareness of addiction and to fundraise for the Thorpe Recovery Centre. This is a great way to get the office together to make healthy lifestyle changes after a busy summer. Contact our office if you’re interested in joining.
